Art has always been to do with getting
close to reality.
First "representing it", she aims to be a mirror of what is real,
later "presenting it", exhibiting fragments of that reality and leaving
behind beauty and technical virtue as pillars to develop new forms of
artistic experimentation. Art currently tends to merge with what is
real, becoming part of the flow of daily life and considering the
interaction of the public as the new pillar.
This is where the "livings" come from: experiences
in
which
the
spectators
find
themselves
involved, while they are
taking a walk, shopping or going to a restaurant. Scenes in which they
can take part and modify elements to also turn themselves into being
the very creators of them.
These livings are inserted into real life with the aim of the spectator
feeling in the purest way possible "...
the
traditional
format
of
a
gallery
sweetens
and
dulls
this
experimentation.
We are moving towards an era in which people wish to
experiment, not possess".
To carry out these livings, Yolanda Works with actors, script-writers,
designers, technicians and so on: all classes of professional people
and collaborators who can make the experience more real.
