Blow-up dolls (2009)

 

This Work consists of a series of 6 photographs and a video that talks about the image of women as sexual objects of desire for men and how this perception lives within the feminine needs.

Using blow up dolls as models bought in the streets helps to assist the statement which is: this icon may not only suggest the sexual representation but also the dreaming and aspirations of  women throughout history; acting smart, becoming loving mothers and therefore getting married amongst other things.
